Dimensioning of wastewater treatment plants in hot and cold climates

Design of sewage and sludge treatment plants under the special conditions in other countries requires the existing German DWA regulations to be amended. For that purpose, internationally applicable dimensioning approaches have been developed in the five-year EXPOVAL joint research project funded by the German Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), presented at the project closing event in Essen/Germany.
